Worshiping The God Who Restores
“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” - Psalm 23:3
Restoration is one of God’s favorite things to do. Throughout Scripture, you see Him taking broken things and making them whole again. He restored Joseph after betrayal and imprisonment. He restored Peter after denial and shame. He restored the prodigal son after rebellion and ruin. God is not in the business of discarding the broken. He is in the business of redeeming it.
Maybe you are walking into this Saturday carrying the weight of something that feels too far gone to fix. A relationship that seems beyond repair. A dream that feels like it died. A version of yourself you miss and wonder if you will ever find again. Bring it to God today in worship. Let your praise be an act of faith that says, “I believe You can restore what has been lost.” He is the Good Shepherd, and He does not leave the broken sheep behind. He restores.
Take time in worship today to specifically thank God for something He has already restored in your life. Let that past faithfulness fuel your faith for what still needs restoration. Then ask Him to do it again.
Restoring God, I bring You the broken pieces today. You know every part of my life that needs Your healing touch. I trust You to do what only You can do. Restore my soul. Lead me in Your paths. I worship You today with expectant faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
