“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” - Psalm 139:13-14

What makes you feel valuable? Is it what you’ve accomplished? The money you’ve made? The approval of others? So often, your worth feels tied to what you do, what you own, or what people say about you. You push yourself to achieve, to earn, to be seen-thinking that once you reach that next level, you’ll finally feel complete.

But have you ever actually arrived? Have you ever gotten the thing you were chasing and thought, “This is it; I finally feel whole,” only to realize the feeling didn’t last? Maybe it was a job promotion, a new house, a certain number of followers, or the applause of people who finally recognized your talent. But even after getting it, something still felt missing.

That’s because nothing in this world can give you the value you’re searching for. Not success. Not possessions. Not validation. You can have a bigger house and still not have a home. You can have a nicer car and still feel empty. You can wear the best brands, but a logo will never define your worth. You can collect trophies and certificates, but none of them will tell you who you really are.

Your value isn’t something you earn. It’s not something you achieve. It’s something that was spoken over you before you ever took your first breath. God formed you, designed you, and called you valuable.

You don’t have to try harder or do better to be enough. You already are. Your value is bigger than anything this world can offer because it comes from the One who made you. And in Him, you are already complete.
