“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” - Galatians 6:7

Every decision you make is like planting a seed in the ground. Some seeds grow into something beautiful and fruitful, while others grow into weeds that choke out the life around them. The choices you make, big or small, determine what kind of harvest you will reap in your life.

God has given you the incredible freedom to choose how you live, but He’s also made it clear that every choice carries consequences. When you sow seeds of kindness, faithfulness, and obedience to God’s Word, you will see a harvest of blessings in your life.

It might not happen overnight, but over time, you’ll see the fruit of your obedience in ways you didn’t expect. When you choose to forgive instead of holding a grudge, to give generously instead of clinging to what you have, or to trust God in difficult moments, you’re planting seeds that will grow into something beautiful.

But the same is true when you choose to oppose God’s will. When you sow seeds of selfishness, bitterness, or disobedience, you can’t expect a harvest of peace and joy. The consequences of those choices might not appear immediately, but they’ll come eventually. God isn’t mocked, He doesn’t ignore the choices you make. His love for you is unchanging, but He allows you to experience the natural outcomes of your decisions to guide you back to Him.

The good news is that it’s never too late to start sowing good seeds. Maybe you’ve made choices in the past that have led to a harvest you don’t like. God’s grace gives you the opportunity to turn things around. When you repent and align your choices with His will, He can take even the broken areas of your life and bring something beautiful from them.

Now think about the seeds you’re planting. Are your choices leading you closer to God and the life He’s called you to? Understand the harvest you reap tomorrow will come from the seeds you sow today. Choose wisely, and trust that God will be faithful to bless your obedience in ways beyond what you can imagine.
