God is For You

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” - Romans 8:31

Have you ever felt like God is just waiting for you to slip up so He can bring down the hammer? It’s easy to think of Him as this strict judge, watching our every move, just waiting for the opportunity to punish us for our mistakes. But here’s the truth: God is not against you. He is for you.

Think about it like this, imagine a loving parent who only wants the best for their child. They don’t sit around hoping their child messes up so they can punish them. Instead, they cheer them on, guide them, and support them through every step of life.

That’s exactly how God is with us. He’s not sitting up in heaven with a checklist of our wrongdoings, waiting to condemn us. He’s cheering us on, guiding us, and supporting us through every triumph and every stumble.

When you feel like you’ve messed up, remember that God is not there to condemn you. He’s there to lift you up, dust you off, and set you back on the right path. He’s for you, not against you.

So, the next time you’re feeling weighed down by guilt or shame, remember this: If God is for you, who can be against you? No mistake is too big for His love to cover. Trust in His grace, lean on His strength, and know that He is always on your side.

God’s love for you is beyond measure, and He wants nothing but the best for your life. So, embrace His love, walk in His grace, and rest assured that He is always for you, cheering you on every step of the way.
