“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going” - Hebrews 11:8

Faith is easy to talk about when everything makes sense. When the path is clear and the next step feels safe, it does not take much to keep going. But real faith shows up when the answers are unclear and the direction feels uncomfortable. That is when trust becomes more than a word.

Abraham didn’t have the details. He didn’t know where God was taking him or how it would all play out. All he had was the voice of God and a command to go. He obeyed anyway. That is what faith looks like. Obedience without a full explanation. Surrender without all the steps mapped out. That is where God does His deepest work.

Sometimes God will lead you into something that does not make sense. It might look like a risk to others. It might look foolish to you. But when God speaks, faith listens. And faith moves. Not because the plan is perfect, but because the One giving the command is trustworthy.

If you find yourself in a place right now where you feel unsure, where the future is foggy, and you do not know what God is doing, that does not mean you are in the wrong place. It might mean you are right where God wants you. He may not reveal the full picture, but He will not leave you alone in the process.

Faith is not about understanding everything. It is about trusting the One who does. Keep walking. Even when it doesn’t make sense. Especially when it doesn’t make sense. That is the kind of faith that moves mountains.
