God does not wait for perfect people. He never has. Instead, He chooses the cracked vessels, the outcasts, the overlooked, and the broken. And through them, He writes some of the most beautiful stories we’ve ever seen.

You do not need to have it all together to be used by God. In fact, if you think you do, that might be the very thing standing in the way. The power of your story is not in your perfection. It is in your surrender. Think about it. Moses had a speech problem and a past. David committed a terrible sin. Paul was once a persecutor of Christians. None of them started off ready, but all of them were willing.

What made the difference? It wasn’t that they tried harder or cleaned themselves up better than anyone else. It was that they surrendered. They acknowledged their weakness and still said yes. That’s where God shows up in power. That’s where grace takes over.

Your flaws do not disqualify you. They are often what make you the most relatable. Because when people see you walking in purpose, knowing where you’ve been and what you’ve done, they can’t help but see God in it. That’s the point. Your story is not meant to spotlight your strength. It’s meant to magnify His.

If you feel broken, if you’ve messed up, if your life doesn’t look like a clean, polished success story, you’re in the perfect place for God to move. All He’s looking for is a surrendered heart. A heart that says, “I can’t, but You can.” That’s where the beauty begins.

It’s time to let go of trying to prove yourself. Stop carrying the weight of performance. Trust that He uses broken people to carry out beautiful stories, and if you let Him, He will do the same through you.
